What I regret

In life, I regret having others make my decisions for me.  I was constantly picked on and bullied going through school and I was afraid to ever stand up for myself.  These bullies caused me to lose all of my close friends and turn them against me.  I have always wanted to reunite with my old friends but these bullies still continue to say awful things about me.  I have always chosen to let others take control of my life.  I have purposely given up different opportunities just because the bullies were a part of them.  Now that I am at college, I am able to make new friends and I don't have to worry the same way I worried before.
